One of the most noble pursuits an individual can have is to strive to lead a meaningful and purposeful life. This can be an extremely difficult task, both in terms of determining what this personally means and then figuring out how to get there. If this sounds like where you are at perhaps we can work together.
When we feel stuck and overwhelmed, other negative and self-limiting states also take shape including depression and exhaustion, leaving us full of bad habits and desperate for change. Together we will outline a pragmatic strategy that induces sustainable and positive behavioural change through the adoption of the humanistic approach that centers on guiding and supporting you on your own unique personal growth path.
I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration with a joint major in Psychology from Simon Fraser University. I have maintained this passion for the scientific approach and the study of human behaviour since this time over 20 years ago. In 2013 I continued my formal education in Psychology and later graduated with distinction with a Masters in Applied Psychology from the University in Liverpool. This was then further complemented with Clinical Counselling Masters level coursework from Yorkville University last year.
I have always enjoyed continuous learning and with a lengthy professional background in business, spanning almost two decades, attained multiple financial designations and certificates, including notably having become a Canadian Certified Investment Manager and Registered Investment Specialist.
My academic backgrounds in Finance and Psychology have contributed greatly to my ongoing pursuit of research in the field of Behavioural Finance and working with individuals as a Financial Coach.
Some of these roles have given me the opportunity to live and work internationally. I have always enjoyed travelling and have spent extended periods of time in Spain, the U.K, Mexico and Colombia. I believe that such diversity in my professional roles, along with the experiences gained from living abroad, have broadened my perspectives and made me more adaptable.
I was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. and I am the oldest of four boys. In addition to travelling I enjoy fitness, studying, languages, art, golf and boxing. I am also currently studying a Masters in Catholic Theology. If you think it could be helpful to work with me please get in touch.
